Camcorder offers the same feature as iVideoCamera: power the older model of iPhone to record video. But as claimed by the company, there is no limit for the recording time, while iVideoCamera only allows users to capture video up to 1-min in length. Also, it supports a higher resolution.
On the downside, the frame rate of Camcorder is quite low and it doesn’t provide any feature to export video to camera roll or share it via Facebook/email/MMS. For a paid iPhone app which costs US$0.99, Compatible with iPhone OS 3.1 or later.
It seems like to me the application is a rush job and not ready for prime time yet. Probably, the app will get an update very soon and incorporate with other essential feature. But, at least for this version, it’s not recommended. You can purchase this application via direct iTunes link here.
If you’re using iPhone 2G/3G and would like to record video, for now, I can recommend for you iVideoCamera and Cycorder (jailbreak iPhone is needed).
