For those not coming from Mac world, Dashboard is an application in Mac OS X that hosts mini-applications called Widgets. Normally, the dashboard is invisible and invoked by a hot key or mouse click. Once activated, the user’s desktop is dimmed and overlaid with all kinds of widgets such as stock quote, calculator, notepad, etc. Dashboard is a great application for Mac user and lets you access those useful & regularly-used widgets by one-click.

It’s great to see Steven brings this useful feature from Mac to iPhone. As mentioned in Twitter, he has completed the development of Dashboard for iPhone. However, he’s not going to release it right now until he figures out a clear purpose for the app.
