Battery Control allows you to show iPhone battery life in percentage. Originally, this feature is only appeared on iPhone 3GS. Thanks for David Ashman to bring this feature to iPhone 2G & 3G. It is now available on Cydia for free download and also compatible with iPhone OS 3.0 only.Install Battery Control Via Cydia
Launch Cydia > Select “Sections” at haptic menu > Select “Tweaks” category > and select “Battery Control” or you can tap “Search” in Cydia and type “Battery Control” > Select “install” button at the right top and confirm it to install. 
What’s more is Battery Control offers an option for you to hide the battery status icon and free up more room for other status icons. Now, you have four choices to select how iPhone battery status is displayed:
- Show both battery status icon and percentage
- Show the battery status icon only (i.e. the default setting)
- Show the battery life in percentage only
- Hide both of them
You also can go to “Settings” and tap “Battery Control” to fine tune the battery icon.
