DreamField has hacked the iPhone OS and makes it run on a Mac Pro and 24-inch multi-touch monitor. As you’ll see from the video, the monitor is tweaked to support multi-touch and both portrait & landscape orientation. You can simply use your finger to flick through the contact list or photos on screen, just like what you do on iPhone. And, with the big screen, you’ll see an extremely large iPhone keyboard.
But you may wonder how you can go back to home screen? There is no Phone “Home button” on the monitor. The hacker tries to use a Mac Remote to emulate the home button. The hack looks interesting and the demonstration is cool. Remember to check out the full video demonstration.
