This is volume 2 of the Transfer Files series. In my previous post, i was covered how to transfer photo to PC for Transfer Files Volume 1. You might be seen several of my post contained screenshot picture that i taken from my iphone using easy screenshot technique.


There is so many ways to transfer file to PC. One of the alternative method is transfer file such as doc, words, notepad, pdf and jpeg etc is using DiskAid software. DiskAid is a freeware that lets you transfer files between iPhone / iPod Touch and PC. I used to be transfered all my screenshot picture via DiskAid. The User Interface (UI) of DiskAid is very simple and easy to understand for accessing your file and transferring. See more details about DiskAid and download it here.


Before transfer your screenshot picture you may create new folder and name it on PC. Once it done install DiskAid and launch it. Please make sure your iPhone connect to PC via USB cable correctly.


Make sure your are at “Media Folder”, you can check it out by select it at the bottom left of your DiskAid window. Click at “DCIM” folder, for your information all photos in camera rolls have been save in the “DCIM" folder, next time you just select this folder when you like to access all your photos in the future. For the screenshot picture, all files has been save in the "999APPLE" folder. Select “999APPLE” folder and all screenshot pictures information will appear on your right side bar.

Right Click one of the screenshot picture that you would like to transfer and select “copy to folder” and save it to folder where you created before. Alternatively, you also can transfer or copy file by clicking “Copy to Folder” icon at the top of the DiskAid window.

You may also copy folder to PC. just select “DCIM” folder. Right click on “999APPLE” and select “copy to folder” and save it to your preferences folder in PC. This method is suitable for those who would like to transfer large amount of photos to PC.
